Acrylic Figurative Art Paintings

Vanessa creates colourful figurative portraits. Many of the paintings shown here are of her own pets, memories of past pets, or friends clients’ pets. The moon bear, polar bear, turtle, and seahorse paintings were inspired by concerns about cruelty and climate change. The people in her paintings are often based on friends or start from a friend’s photo before completely transforming into imaginative characters.
